Year-Round Residential Free Dump Passes
Waste Management (WM) customers in Reno and Sparks get 4 free standard pickup truck loads of bulky trash per year at local transfer stations and the Lockwood Landfill. You must present a current WM service bill and matching proof of residency.
If your residential WM account is current, you automatically qualify for four free dump runs annually.

To use your free dump allowance:
- Drive into the regular line at an approved facility.
- Present a valid photo ID.
- Bring a copy of your current utility bill that matches the name and address on the account.
- Ensure your WM account is current before arrival.
Each pass covers one standard pickup truck load of residential waste at participating transfer stations or the landfill.
